In the dynamic world of Grinstep, the Marketplace serves as a bustling hub where users can engage in buying and selling various NFT items, including Sneakers, Shoebox, Badges, and Gems. The Marketplace features a user-friendly filter and sort function, making it effortless for users to navigate and explore the available listings.

Rental System (Coming Soon):

To address the complexity associated with onboarding new users into the world of cryptocurrencies and decentralized platforms, Grinstep introduces a revolutionary Rental System. This system aims to simplify the onboarding process and provide a seamless experience for newcomers.

With the Rental System, users can easily get started by downloading the Grinstep app and renting their desired Sneakers. This eliminates the need for users to create an exchange account, convert fiat currency to cryptocurrency, or navigate complex decentralized wallets.

Here's how the Rental System works:

1. Renting Process:

   • Users interested in renting can visit the in-app Marketplace.

   • They can browse through available rental listings and apply for the desired rental.

   • Once paired with a leaser, users must carefully review and agree to the leaser's rental terms before the rental is approved.

   • Each rental contract lasts for 24 hours, after which the rented Sneaker is returned to the owner for repair and maintenance.

2. Rental Agreement:

   • A rental agreement can extend up to 7 days based on the renter's credit rating.

   • It is crucial for renters to fulfill the terms stipulated in the rental agreement to maintain a good credit rating.

   • Failure to fulfill the terms will result in a 1-star deduction from the renter's credit rating.

3. Rental Earnings:

   • When a renter completes a session in the Solo Mode, the Smart Contract automatically distributes the earnings according to the terms of the Rental Agreement.

   • The exact earnings for renters and leasers will be determined (TBD).

   • As a reward for responsible renting, renters receive 0.1 credit per successful Rental Agreement fulfilled.

Credit System (Coming Soon):

To ensure a secure and trustworthy rental environment, Grinstep implements a Credit System that determines a renter's eligibility and credibility. Here are the key aspects of the Credit System:

1. Credit Rating Quizzes:

   • Renters are required to complete a series of "scholar" quizzes.

   • These quizzes test their understanding of the app's fundamentals and ensure they are knowledgeable about its features and functionalities.

   • By successfully completing the quizzes, renters can increase their credit rating.

2. Credit Rating Cap:

   • The Credit Rating system has a maximum rating of 5/5.

   • Renters can work towards achieving and maintaining a high credit rating, which enhances their rental opportunities and benefits.
